Toyota JIT Feeder

(Rockwell CompactLogix/Panelview +) – PLC logic for an existing machine was written as a straight conversion from a memory-based Mitsubishi program making troubleshooting difficult for maintenance and extending downtime. Ibex was contacted to restructure the logic, covert to a readable tag-based program, and allow for the existing machine labeling to be easily cross referenced in the logic.

General Motors

(Rockwell CompactLogix/Siemens TIA) – Ibex is a GM supplier that has training and experience in the GCCS system. We are currently helping GM in the switch to electrics by providing controls design, programming, and commissioning for many new battery assembly lines. We also have extensive experience in large conveyance systems including Chain, EMS, Skillet, and Flattop conveyors.

Nuclear

(Siemens Simatic S7/WinCC) – We had the opportunity to provide controls support for the reactor retube retrofit at Bruce Power. This involved up to 11 PLCs and many motion control axes using Siemens Simatic Technology all working together to bring the old tubes out of the reactor safely and remotely for disposal.

Automotive

(Mitsubishi GX Developer/GOT, AB ControlLogix/PV+) – Ibex was contacted to help make an automotive changeover a success. Working as an extension of the maintenance staff we have completed several projects throughout our customer’s plant. If you have a growing list of projects and not enough time to complete, we can help clear the list.

Transportation

(Beckhoff PC based PLC) – Working closely with our customer Ibex has created the controls for manufacturing transport racking based on customizable parameters. The Beckhoff PLC/HMI solution ties together the vision system, robots, welders, tooling, and recipes to form a cell that can build an array of different sized racks based on needs of the customer.

Automotive

(Mitsubishi GX Works/Proface HMI) – Ibex was contacted for an existing PLC program that was difficult to maintain with the way the sequential function chart was programmed as well as not following the same programming style as the other machines. Using the logic from machines at the facility Ibex converted the SFC logic to match the plant standard as well as increase functionality at request from our customer. Its important that each machine be programmed in a way that maintenance staff familiarity allows for reduced downtime.

Plastics

(Siemens TIA/ Blow Mold BMM1500) – We are trained in Siemen’s Blow Mold TIA software solution. Ibex was contacted to provide the controls hardware, PLC programming, install support, and commissioning for a new blow mold machine.

Medical

(Siemens MicroWin) – Finding support for legacy systems can be difficult. We have been around the industry long enough that we likely have experience with your aging equipment. In this case we were able to help with some critical hospital equipment to keep systems running.
