Working closely with our customer Ibex has created the controls for manufacturing transport racking based on customizable parameters. The Beckhoff PLC/HMI solution ties together the vision system, robots, welders, tooling, and recipes to form a cell that can build an array of different sized racks based on needs of the customer.
We are the go-to company for Honda’s robot sealer applications. This project required reach and cycle time analysis and simulation using Fanuc Roboguide to ensure there would be no affect to this running line. 3D IRVision was also used for this project to ensure accurate location. This included site integration of new robots and changes to several existing robots.
This line consisting of 6 robots utilized 2D+ IRVision to located and apply black wax and foam as required.
The process depalletizes the parts, plasma cuts custom profiles based on input engineering data, followed by repalletizing completed parts.
A custom solution for a commercial heavy duty paint unload robot allowed for the parts to be recipe picked based on entered engineering design data.
